I am still fiddling with replacing my rear cargo doors, but found out why my damaged ones are leaking. the existing weather stripping at the top, where the doors shut into, is damaged. Water drips into the rear of the truck there. I called the local chevy dealer parts area, and they said this part is NLA. the part number is 1598 3925, according to the counter guy.

Anyone else replaced or have sourced this weather stripping?

its number 1 - and a different part number. i wonder why a dealership parts guy would be off - granted I wasn't at the dealership, and describing it over the phone, but hell, i described it here, and you knew what I meant. Thank you, East - really appreciate it.

I pulled the existing weatherstrip - very dirty, a bit deformed, maybe from my doors being damaged. I'll clean that strip, and see if that works in sealing. If not, the 32 dollars is cheap insurance. thanks again - glad to find a solution with the help here
