P0175

Replaced my lifters and now getting a P0175 code. As a side note, I also replaced the purge valve and charcoal canister at the same time as well as coil packs and injectors. I'm not sure if anything I have done would have caused this or if its just one of those things where if you fix one thing another breaks.

Probably worth mentioning, but I broke the bolts off of the y pipe so my exhaust now ends where the y pipe ends. I couldn't get the studs out. I'm wondering if that's affecting the 02 sensor and throwing this code?

I am not getting a P0172 code. Only P0175

I am not getting a P0172 code. Only P0175

If the exhaust leak is before the downstream o2 sensor, then yes, that's a potential problem in this case.

You could also get the code for a while after replacing the purge valve if there were any fuel vapors in the lines that were trapped in there. With a working purge valve, that unburned fuel is gonna get sucked in.

If anyone is curious....yes my exhaust ending after the y pipe WAS the issue. Got determined today and got the broken studs out and put my exhaust back together minus the muffler. Drove fine, Idled fine, No CEL.

Edit, I have only 2 cats. So all the 02 sensors were connected and both cats were present. I have no idea why that caused a bank 2 rich condition.

Actually may have jumped the gun. It's ran fine for 2 days now and all of a sudden I get the service stabilitrak but no CEL. Scan it and it's pulling the same P0175 code.....

Did you install oem parts or aftermarket?

Aftermarket I believe. Well I KNOW the lifters were after market.

Please check the items listed below.
I'm willing to bet you have a bad injector, specially if it's not oem.

*Fuel pressure, you are running to rich
*Inspect the fuel injectors for leaks
*Inspects all vacuum lines for cracks and deterioration(pvc line)
* Do a leak test on the intake manifold. Did you install a new intake manifold gasket?
*Inspect the oxygen sensors (Did you unplug these sensors?)
