How'd you attach the rear brake light/spoiler? There was a discussion about that awhile ago and iirc no one could figure it out.
The center metal tab inside the spoiler I flipped inside out and upside down that way the hole lines up perfectly with the center hole from an 02 Escalade rear glass’s third brake light. Drilled the tabs hole out as large as possible found a bolt that had a rubber gripped end (basically looks like a foot you see on an end table or something) that was long enough to thread in tightly to the hole I drilled. Surprisingly, it was ridiculously secure with just that one bolt. To make sure I had no issues with the spoiler shifting/pivoting on the single bolt I took my rotary tool and carefully notched out an angled groove on either side of the spoiler where the rubber weather stripping type stuff goes around the edge of the window so each of the bottom corners of the spoiler are able to rest securely those grooves of course after adding liquid thread locker to the single bolt that is holding it in place. I’ve done 130 mph test to see if it would hold on top of 2 Rockford Fosgate 12 in P3s being pushed by 2500 watts vibrating the mess out of the rear and it hasn’t budged a bit. For extra precaution I did add a small strip of alien tape in the middle of the spoiler right below the brake light itself. You wouldn’t believe how tight fitting it is on the truck. I’ve told people in person that have asked how I did it they looked at me crazy when I told them it was held by one bolt and some alien tape.. then I told them to go try and yank it off. Each have tried to no prevail.
Great looking truck. What size wheels and tires are you running ?
2021 18 in gmc sierra AT4 wheels on 265/65/18 tires. Will def go to 265/70 maybe 265/75s my next set.

Mine are also later model GMC 18’s. I’m running 275/60-18 and I think I’d have to lift the suspension to get any more tire. I’m happy w this set up, my speedometer reads right on (versus GPS) after I wear a thirty-second off the tires. Your wheels look good though.

Next time I remove the spoiler/third brake light I will def make a how to video. From what I’ve not been able to find on the internet..I’m guessing I should make a how to on installing a gmt 900 steering wheel in a gmt 800 while I’m at it. (Still got to get the controls and clock spring wired in as you can see the airbag light is illuminated but not for long)image.jpg
