I'm beginning to realize this more and more reading through this forum. I think the mileage is more a function of having a clean interior but it seems refinishing the interior if need be is an easy fix. And maybe I look for cloth which seems to hold up better than the leather in these.

Thank you! Although I have sworn off black exteriors now 3 times in my life and everytime i go back, i have regretted it outside the first 5 minutes it's clean.

I had to have the bottom and arm rest of my leather redone when I got it and it's black and always dirty lol. black on Grey is hard to beat thou. I don't see many obs in good colors. I'd like a nice blue but never seen one.

once I found a hole in the wall shop to fix the seats, they still look good 15 years later. the gm leather is just kinda weak or something. as long as the foam isn't damaged, it's not to hard to have seats fixed.

My 2dr 4wd 1995 Tahoe that I bought brand new is a Nation Wide Car Show Winner that has only 43k miles!!
Everywhere I go everyone loves the Coupe version of the Tahoe cause it's so less seen than the 4 door !!

We have a blue on blue and the interior is in pretty good shape. Of course the seat bottoms show wear but still pretty good. Unfortunately the repro companies don't offer blue replacements as it wasn't popular.

Saw this one on CL that you might be interested in; higher mileage but LS conversion plus a lot of other modifications-https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/los-angeles-1999-chevy-tahoe-door-ls/7621866972.html.

Too bad you weren't looking for a two wheel drive/barn door original 33k mile 2 owner Tahoe. :)TZFG0120.JPG

I just put a blue seat bottom in on my 99. While the color isn't an exaxt match, it's pretty close. I also put a blue daskskin in. The front seats are the only seats I have seen. Other than, the blue stuff is difficult to find...or when you do find it, its expensive.

Welcome to the forum.

Here is one at Cars & Bids auction site but it has 155k miles, which is low mileage for the year.

Here is one from the PNW where there is no rust and is below 100k miles.

@Reeza, welcome from Texas!

I’m pretty sure you could swap out that grille and heads, for the rectangular style. Good luck with your search!
