Front hub assembly replacment difficulty?

I tried the air chisel routine didn’t budge untill I brought out the sledge hammer then it squeaked .005-010 only in one corner and stayed that way. After 1000 hits. The bearing broke apart the wheel hub came off and it just got harder. I was going to burn it off but ran out of oxygen so I made a slide hammer and after whacking away using all three holes finally after day 2 plus it came out.

You must have some serious salt issues where you live.
