I'm assuming you meant to quote Bkihum? He said he looked at a window sticker and saw there is a retrofit on the column lock. I posted the window sticker to show in fact there is not a retrofit for steering column lock. Parking sensors on the other hand do include later retrofit.
So I stand corrected and there is no retro on steering col lock out

Just curious, what is the steering column lock? How much easier is it to steal? I only ask because Hyundai and Kia had poor ignition theft deterrents and once that was found out, something like 70% of all vehicle thefts in Milwaukee were Hyundai's and Kia's.

If someone wants to steal your car/truck, they're going to, no matter what type of security device/feature is installed.

It’s an electrically actuated mechanical lock, such that when the vehicle is turned off, the steering wheel cannot be turned. Remember back in the day when we used keys (oh the horror) and sometimes if you turned your vehicle off with the wheel turned, you had to wiggle the steering wheel a bit in order to turn the key and start it. That was the same function, but actuated by the lock cylinder on the column.

Update to the heated steering wheel and park assist. I sent an email a couple of weeks ago to the GM executive office director and got a call a week later with no update and a promised call back for Apr 6th (yesterday) and of course no call back so I fired off another "scathing" email and within 30 minutes today received a call which of course had zero resolution for the retrofits. I asked how come new 2023 vehicles were being delivered with these items operational and she told me that was not true and that I was receiving misinformation, go figure.

Park assist and heated steering wheel are must-haves for me.. I honestly feel for you and pray for an eventual resolve.

It's been 14 months, but I finally got my heated steering wheel retrofit installed. Here's hoping y'all get your missing components soon too!
