Good Afternoon All, I'm looking for some help with my wife's 2011 Chevy Suburban LT 5.3L. This vehicle has had a few problems through the 2 going on 3 years we have owned it ( Bought with 144,000 to now 168,000). I have replaced in the last year-
Front struts (Monroe)
All 4 calipers brakes and rotors
Engine mounts
Transmisson pan gasket
Leveling kit
Sway bar links
Recently I have had an issue, when driving you could feel heavy vibrations going over cracks or bumps in the road. To this issue I installed in the 3 weeks-
Upper control arms
Lower control arms
Wheel hubs in the front
Sway bar bushings and links
Rear bilstein shocks 5100
.....
I soon realized that after THESE parts I could see the new UCAs hitting the bumpstops. So I said enough with the leveling kit. Removed the leveling kit and the ride got MUCH BETTER but I still have this issue with an almost whole interior/body vibration when hitting small cracks or bumps in the road. Tires are not in the best shape but I have switched tires with no differnece at all. Tires are at 32 psi with 20 inch stock rim.

I can hit serious speed bumps doing 20mph and the truck takes it like a champ but when driving any speed I can feel the interior of the vehicle vibrate and creak all over. I am think body mounts (they do not look crumbling or bad but I'm out of options) or a new set Tires, but if that doesn't fix it, I might drive this off into a pond. Any insight is appreciated! Please any thoughts I am open to! Thank you in advance

Thanks for the quick response, this is a 1500 suburban, by bumpstops I mean the metal ledge off of the frame that will touch the UCA at full droop

As for the Monroe struts, they have served me well since installed, is there any test I can do to confirm the struts are causing an issue?

Well, they aren't supposed to let the suspension compress that much, that's usually how we know our springs and shocks are wore out.

@Doubeleive What do you think Wes?

.
shouldn't be having full articulation unless the wheels are coming off the ground or you are bottoming out high speed
are you talking about right here-->

Yes when I had the leveling kit installed the UCA were hitting on that with the vehicle just on the ground. When I removed the leveling kit they now have way more clearance

Update*** - after driving the truck for about 40 miles I can say that the issue is intermittent, it is also heightened when the brakes are pressed, but when you let off it ALMOST vanishes. It is still there and especially when hitting bumps, Mt first thought was brakes and rotors but I did the brakes and rotors about 2 months ago and the truck stops extremely well and really only shakes when going down hill. I am thinking driver side fromt Diff bushings, I can pry on the driver side mount and have a good amount of play, also I have the driver side stub axle seal leaking, wonder if the bad bushing cause that leak. I will replace the bushing and report back. I am also going to check caliper slide pins.

Update- after installing new Front Diff/axle mounts, it drives great no more shake when hitting minor cracks in the road, I still have a brake issue going down hill or slowing from a high speed, but atleast I think that is brake related. When replacing the axle mounts make sure to take advantage of axle being out, did both shaft seals, drained and filled it while out of the vehicle.
