I previously mentioned that I need to get some new running light/turn signal housings. What's you guys opinion on this headlight and running light combo? I'm definitely intrigued, but I don't know what they'd look like in person. I also like that bowtie-less grill in the picture, but that's most likely a Photoshop. If it's real, I'd like to know where I can find one. View attachment 395445
They look cool! Brand information is not visible, so hard to have anyone identify if they are a product that was good quality or not...

On the grille that is without a bow-tie, that is most likely someone in marketing that used Photoshop to make it disappear from the image. They would want to highlight their product, not Chevy.
I would expect it does not exist in real life.

Must have spacers in the rear too..? And you pulled off those crappy chrome mirror caps. Plasti-dipped the grille, and mirror caps? Looks great!
Thanks! I went with the moog z71 replacement springs in the rear when I deleted the factory air ride.1-3 inch lift torsion keys. And yes spacers in the rear. And yes dipped the grille and caps…

That's some nice glass ... Well I just opened up my liftgate to mess with my rear A/C and I noticed this bullspit. FML I can't win with this Tahoe... I try and treat it right but seems like every time I fix something I turn around to get 2 more things that have failed or are beginning to fail....
Try supporting 4x GMT800s, a Town Car, and a Kia; add drivers who do not want to be without their car to let you do maintenance... :Stupid Me:

Still dealing with a p0302 misfires. This weekend my buddy threw his scanner on it and did a running compression test which showed about 150 psi on that cylinder. He noted the exhaust stroke was slightly below 0 psi and thinking either collapse lifter there or one starting to fail=/. Will do a leak down test tomorrow or Wednesday.

I'm now shopping for a cam kit!!! Haha!!

And some ls7 style roller rockers and pushrods. Will see what happens.

Yeah but I'm well over 300k miles. I kind of like the truck and plan on giving it to my son when his DL arrives in about 3 years. Plenty of time to mess with it now. I might have my buddy refresh the block itself depending on the leak down test results

Finally got her mostly cleaned up. Washed, waxed, and almost detailed.. hard to get it done. These puppies have been very good & patient with me. Lol.
Definitely need to polish the chrome, especially the exhaust tip, but maybe I can do that tonight.

After this wax, I’m really considering a debadge.. not sure how much fading / ghosting I’ll have though.. considering the miles and age, I’m pretty happy with the way the roof looks, but it needs an actual polish for sure. Recommendations for products to use, the correct pads for my polisher are appreciated!
