Hey guys, if this is in the wrong spot I can move it.

I bought a 15 Yukon SLT today that has everything except Denali badges. Everything was perfect on the test drive, no issues whatsoever and I drove it about 20 miles at highway speeds bla bla bla.

I had a 2.5 hour drive home and about an hour in, my backup camera says “service rear camera” after stopping and the screen is dark grey but the guide shows up.

Secondly, my cruise stopped working and shows “service adaptive cruise”, “service automatic collision prep” and lastly, “automatic collision prep unavailable”.

Looking for some insight so I don’t get the run around on this. I’m mechanically inclined but this stuff is foreign to me. Please help asap!

are you driving in the snow? the sensors don't like the snow or being dirty that's your best bet otherwise now you know why someone got rid of it and none of that is covered unless you bought a very top end warranty

No snow, I’m in Tennessee and it was cleaned before I drove off the lot. It was a 1 owner. Had no idea of the 2015 problems….

well the 2015 is a first model year but doesn't really have any significant problems per say, it could just need a new back up camera and a calibration if the front window was replaced there is a a sensor on the front and a couple other ones in the bumper area. the adaptive cruise and forward collision system have sensitive calibration if one of the the sensors is out of whack it will give up and error out. some of those sensors can be a bit expensive which is why I mentioned a warranty.

It's not too late to purchase a warranty, I would recommend the GMEPP if your not over on mileage, check the GM warranty site. There are GM Dealers that sale at a discount and you can even make monthly payments. There are a lot of electronics on these new vehicles and I would consider a warranty.

I'm having similar issues, my cruise control worked fine then all of a sudden "service Adaptive cruise control" every time I start it and the cruise control isn't working. Also I'm unable to turn off the forward collision warning, not sure if that's related.
