limited slip diff type?

I've never experienced binding like that in any of my G80-equipped trucks over the years. I suspect an issue there.

The only time it has happened is in my driveway, if it's snowy and I'm in 2wd coming up the G80 will engage, but the next day it's dry, backing out onto the street it will bind until it unlocks, as it was locked all night long. That is perfectly normal operation.

I should say that the G80 performs better than the Ford limited slip at lower speeds. The Ford limited slip required torque to really hook, but at low torque wasn't as tight. My thoughts anyway.

If transfer case in neutral then it is disconnected from the transmission output.
yes, I was replying to the guy that said flat towing will damage the tranny because the pump is on the tranny input shaft. if it's in park, nothing in the tranny is moving to need oil. then my question was how are things oiled in the transfer case. does it need the tranny input spin it's oil, I'm guessing pump because it has clutches.

It must be oiled by having the internal spin from the driveshafts attached to the axles.
