What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Got all new lights for the front, hood release cable and turn signal switch ordered. Also found someone to paint my hood and roof. And I found a guy who will repad and recover my drivers seat. Might not get it done until January or February but I am on my way with her. Maybe new wheels and tires later in the year next year. I am loving it.

Have really enjoyed This Beast!
Got some plans 4 but just taking my time doing things as i can.

All new lights up front installed. Removed LED lights and I like it much better now. It's amazing what a difference it makes. Also fixed my hood latch issue. Was going to install a new cable, but after looking at it, I just lubed up everything at the latch and let it sit for a minute. Works perfect now. Checked pump on faulty windshield washer. Verified it works. Will be replacing tail light lenses and turn signal stalk in Feb. Wiper work but shut off on their own terms. The multiswitch seem to be working fine except wash and wipers. I guess at least the wipers are working. I think next will be big money stuff that I can't do. Paint, seat cover, wheels and tires. Those are my main 3 goals after the multiswitch.

Put new tail lights in today. What an upgrade as far as looks go. Now I need to decide if I want to do the third brake light. Up next will be the new multiswitch. I have a mobile mechanic coming on Wednesday to do that for me. Will cost me about $125 but it's worth it.

Finally installed the MPFI, also changed the intake gaskets, fuel filter, spark plugs, cap, rotor, spark plug wires, coil and ICM. Haven’t finished yet due to snow but hopefully the next few days I’ll have it running

Finally got the multswitch change. Everything is working as it should now. What a relief.

Finally warmed up enough for me to contemplate working on my son’s truck.

Me and this little bugger scared the sh*t out of each other. Think that killed my motivation for the day.
