With 75K miles on the OD thought I'd start the new year out with a shiney ride. I washed, claybared, washed again with a striper soap to remove any waxes or sealants then did a full paint correction with Maguires Fine Cut before applying 2 coats of CQUARTZ UK 3.0 ceramic coating.

This was my 1st time doing a ceramic coating. It was easy to apply but lots of surface on a Yukon. From start to finish it took me about 10 hours including all the prep work.

Looks great and good job, I just had my Ultimate done and mine is also black. Well worth it to have it ceramic coated IMO

16 months & 24K miles later the ceramic coating on the Yukon is still doing great. So easy to keep the Yukon clean. 4 months ago I ceramic coated my wife's 2014 SS Sedan then last month I ceramic coated my 2011 Camaro SS

This is such a labor of both love and hate. I’ve done this once. I just don’t have the time to do it myself anymore. But some of the local details shops to me want A LOT of money to do it. Which I can kind of understand since all the work is in the prep not so much the application of the ceramic coating.

Nice stable of roses there @MrMonte.

The hard work is all in the paint correction. Super easy to apply the ceramic. Next on my list to ceramic coat is my 1973 Camaro that I will be painting this summer. Still need to install the 6.2L & 6 speed 1st.
