No real questions at the moment. I have a few minor concerns about it. It's more than I wanted to spend. It's only got the 3.08 rear. It has the AFM.

So, I had contacted the dealer about a tahoe they had listed with lowish miles for like 25k. They hit me back and said the sold the tahoe, but they had the surburban at right at 30k. I was kind of busy when I talked to the sales guy, but I looked into it, and we ultimately made a deal. I gave em my amex for a 'holding fee' and booked a flight here in 2 weeks.

Until....right now. I did another auto tempest search for what I was really originally looking for. A pickup. I found a 2019 2500HD, with less miles at 77k, and would be another 3k. I dont *WANT* a pickup. I'm not a pickup guy. I dont like the lack of storage in a pickup. However, this is 3 years newer, its 4x4, has less miles, I can more easily justify financing it for 5 years, it's a 6.0, no AFM (I think). So, things are up in the air again. I put a freeze on my amex, pending a call to this dealer in the morning. I very well may put down two $500 deposits, go check them each out, and then I just forfeit one of them once I've checked them both out. I hate buying cars, but I kind of love it at the same time.

You can't go wrong with the 2019 truck. I had a 2015 as a work truck with the 6.0L and it was a complete Rockstar. Non-AFM, pure power and a bulletproof 6 speed trans. I would buy one as a personal vehicle in a heartbeat if I found a 2019 for a reasonable price.

Your fuel economy won't be the same however, if that's a deal killer. But, for the added fuel expense and knowing your possibilities of expensive failures is pretty much nonexistent, I'd take less mpg personally

Yeah me too. I'm used to the 2500 burb which is probably worse than this 2500HD, so im not worried about mpg to be honest. Reliable is all I care about.

However, I just got the numbers from the dealer. Truck is 31.9k, they have $3190 for "dealer added accessories." Now, not to mention, I found this truck on cars.com for 29.9k, they jacked it up because the first of the month. Then they just slide in another 3 grand in ********. When asked about it, he said, when serviced it will come with Window Tint, Wheel locks, spray in bedliner, and wait for it..... nitrogen filled tires. I said, nah, trucks 31.9, I'll pay 31.9 plus docs plus tax. Waiting to hear a response.

I know I have zero leverage, but if youre going to make the truck 35k, list it at freaking 35k...not bait people in and then hit them with line items you hope they never question.

I'd say 29.9 and show them a current screenshot of the listing. Had the same happen to my daughter, but I let my wife loose and they caved pretty quickly.

If they are that slimy, though, they don't deserve your $$$$.

Oh, and that NITROGEN is like gold bro!!! Super worth it! . LOL

you should ask them to prorate the cost based on the percentage of nitrogen already in the air........

Well, I told them to release the suburban for sale after it had gone through service and reconditioning. It looks SO nice. It was a Texas package too, oddly enough in Texas. I think the 3.08 gearing is going to be a bit tough on the towing front. I REALLY want it, but I think I'm going to get a good ole 2500HD. 6.0 that I'm familiar with, I can work on most of it myself, no AFM....things like that are important. So the search continues.

That said, if ya'll are in texas around houston, the guys at Gay Family Auto companies are super decent folks. They were so willing to work with me on this, and I felt bad having to decline.
