I joined the queue. At first I was going to buy a Sienna but after waiting 6 months and only moving 1 slot on the allocation list, I bailed.

I want what everyone seems to want Diesel, Air Suspension Denali or High Country

I added my name to 4 dealer wait lists 2 Chevy, 2 GMC

Thanks everyone for their posts and advice. I never would have tried multiple dealers without reading it here first.

One question: are people having better luck ordering with the Smaller Packages (Premium Package for example) or the Larger Packages (High Country Deluxe // Denali Reserve)?

Part of me was thinking the larger package would get chip priority because of the profit margin, but the other was thinking the added complexity of multiple chips would mean smaller packages would naturally come out ahead.
Someone else here said their dealer told them if they wanted an Ultimate they could get it quicker than if it was a lower end trim level.

Did any of the four dealers give you an idea of where you’re at on their allocation wait list?

I've had an XL Denali 3.0 air ride, max tow on order since February. Should be next in line for it at my dealer. Just about ready to tell the dealer to drop the 3.0. Tired of waiting

I've had my base XL Denali 3.0 order in with 3 different dealers. The first, a very small dealer, I've had in since June. I was #5 on their list in June and still #5 in August. I bailed (although my order is still in there), went to a larger dealer in August and was #1 on their list for a diesel. I think I'm still #1 on their list, still waiting. In Sept I went to one of the largest dealers in my city and was #2 on their list for a diesel. My order was accepted 2 weeks ago. I got ACC and Max Tow but personally did not want Air ride. At the time my dealer told me there were "no constraints" so I'm sure I could have added more options.

Everyone needs to do what works for him, but the more I read about that 3.0, the more convinced it is worth waiting for. And I'm also convinced the market is changing. Some on here think high mark-ups and very low supply will be here forever. I just respectfully disagree and feel a change is coming. That 3.0 will come sooner than you think and will be worth it.

I ordered a '22 Denali diesel w/ bench and sunroof in Feb., got picked up in March, built in April, sat until delivery last week of October. We also ordered a '23 when we found out the '22 was going to sit, but it never got picked up. It is still on order with the dealer and they are going to give us first right of refusal (different color and power side steps were added on the newer order) if our '22 is worth more than we paid whenever the '23 shows up.

I sent them all a note asking where I am in the queue. (I’ll fill in as they reply).

1 GMC (largest): 1st in queue
2 GMC: 5th in queue
1 Chevy (largest): 3rd in queue
2 Chevy:

But as we all know, it just depends on allocations at this point.

Still waiting on my 23 Suburban Z71. Its been 120 days. Was told the holdups the Z71 off road package for the Mag Ride and Air Suspension.

Does anyone have a list or link for the most current constraints?

I just put in an order with my local GMC dealer for a 2023 Yukon Denali (Sterling Metallic) with the Denali Reserve Package (SuperCruise, Tech, Rear Seat Entertainment, Air Suspension, etc.). The dealership doesn't yet have an allocation, and said it could be months before they get one. I'll keep this forum updated with the status.

When I was at the dealer they did just receive a black Denali with the Reserve Package that the original person that ordered it backed out once it arrived. I could have driven it home today, but decided to wait as I really wanted the Sterling Metallic over the Black.

I currently lease a 2021 Ram 1500 Limited that the lease isn't up until May 2024, so I have plenty of time to wait without being in a rush.

moved up to #31 for the Sub. in about a month. Not horrible I guess?
Boring update:

Yukon XL - originally placed on 3/28/2022 for an SLT, redid for 2023 on 7/23/2022 - no update specific to my build

Suburban Z71 - originally ordered 8/26/2022, had a TPW of 9/19, changed the order to include RSE on 9/23, this week's update I'm number 84 in line at the dealer ....

Not sure if this truck is worth the torture of waiting...
