I swapped over my bench for captain chair this morning. Easy swap and fairly straight forward. Now here’s the issue.

My bench was power folding and heated. I got seats out of an Escalade which was also the same. Swapped everything over plugged in and when pressing the fold button I get nothing. Heated seats might work? I thought I felt it on one of them.

I didn’t have much time after to diag with being back on baby duty but is there a fuse I should be checking or would it be with the motors themselves inside the chairs?

TIA

They should be plug-n-play. At least when I went from captains to bench in our 2007 Yukon XL with a bench from a Suburban LTZ.

Are you sure the seats worked properly in the Escalade they came from?

I believe the fuse for the rear seats is on the instrument panel fuse block.

I am not 100% on that. I have a friend that works at a junk yard. He knew I was looking for a set and let me know he got this in. Seats were in good shape and when looking at it saw that it would retain the same options as what I had.

I wonder if I could swap the motors out of my bench into the chairs if that were the problem.

I have the switch for power folding and heated rear bench seats, but they don't work.

I don't have 3rd row seats, so it's not an issue, but I'd like to see IF they work.

hey if you could help me out, I have a 22 esv and I'm looking to replace my bench for captain seats, is the process just nuts and bolts or is there more to it than that? I'm asking because of the space that is a path to the 3rd row on a factory captain setup, is there a cover for that or just carpeting to cover whatever would be there after a swap.
if you could walk me through the process of it that'd be appreciated
