These particular hose clamp pliers make that removal and replacement of the hose clamps easier and are made for those specific clamps we run in to and these also lock in place so is less strain on the fingers, hands and wrist. I only have one last thing to say about this thermostat replacement video. I am sorry, but I would never use those serrated tipped needle nose pliers to loosen the hose grip seal on that housing tip. You can damage the hose that way. Fortunately that did not happen but it can happen and I would avoid that. The rest of the video was spot on, especially catching that almost double seal on the housing. Congrats and thanks for the video.

I am asking because the "temp sensors" on the k2xx are prone to failure, so you may get a check engine light or message saying the engine is not heating properly or is overheating or the fans may run at high speed all the time because of the temp sensor being faulty rather than the thermostat.
