Thats crazy. Thats a substantial bracket for nothing. Very odd. No a/c lines or wiring behind it ?
What I was thinking initially too, but nothing there on drivers side and passenger side does have ac and wiring behind it but it’s not hanging out there, it’s along the frame.

The way the bracket is made, its almost like it was added for additional support for something.

Car manufacturers do not typically spend millions mass producing a bracket and securing it to a vehicle for nothing haaaaa.

Switched from LT KO2’s to Standard Load 275/60R20 Cooper Rugged Treks so I could run at 35 psi. Same size but the Cooper’s measure out taller (had to do some extra trimming). So far I like them, a little hum but nothing crazy, ride a little softer than the LT’s for all the pot holes around here.

@nick14226 I went the same route. Best combination of size, weight and pricing I could find.

Edgymods links raised about an inch. 38" fender height all the way around.

So what extra trimming did you have to do???

I have a 2021 Denali and the plan is a Traxda 2" front lift and 1" rear lift combo kit. Once that is in, I was looking at some 20x9 wheels (+12 offset) wrapped with some Toyo AT3 285/60/ 20's.

I thought I would be okay and have been told that should good but, now I'm second guessing myself?!?!?!

Thanks and by the way......The Tahoe looks great!

Thanks!

After removing the brackets and pulling the felt back with zip ties I was good with the BFG’s, but with the Cooper’s also had to trim the L-shaped plastic pieces below. Used a dremel and cleaned up with a file. I’m around a -16mm offset with the wheels and spacers, so you may not need as much with the +12mm even with the bigger tires.

Let us know how you make out and share pics, sounds like it’ll look great!

Yea i bet he would clear a lot better (maybe fully?) with the positive offset.
First off....."thanks" but yes I did find that one and read through before ordering everything.

You know how it is, when you order stuff and are not 100% sure......Just don't want to deal with issues!! LOL

I'm hoping to bolt up everything and we are good to go!!!

If everything works out right, I should have pics and a post with updates come Saturday! As long as the wheels and tires don't get delayed!!
