There’s actually a TSB on that exact wiring issue you found. Looking forward to your results.

I recommend changing the heater hoses and plastic "T-Fittings. We have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ with 145,000 miles and the heater hose broke at the firewall plastic "T-fitting" and lost a lot of fluid as we arrived home from AML Leukemia Chemo treatment. Rock Auto has good prices for the hoses with "T-fittings. Changing these will ensure that you don't
experience a future failure at an inconvenient time or location.

Wasnt aware. Work has me a bit backed up, kids and halloween. i will keep everone posted once i put in the new cam sensor, maf sensor and air filter.
I have the new dealer parts just need the day to do the job. Thank you for the tsb i want to look into that also.

Whatever you do, get the GM tees and not the cheap Dorman tees. You will also want to follow the hoses to the back of engine and to the rear to make sure you have no problems at the rear heat-a/c, at the right rear area.

Do not buy the Dorman ones- there have been failures of them soon after installing. Buy OEM. They last at least 150k or 10-15 years, Dorman not so much.
