Would the billet OD servo extend life when towing or just increase clamping force? Toying with the usual corvette servo upgrade and add in the OD.

My understanding is that it increases the clamping force (about 40% more surface area) on the 2/4 band when 4th is commanded as per Sonnax. But as rockola stated, it is still a bad idea to tow in 4th especially if you have an already worn band. If you do install, make sur eyou check your band clearance as explained in the sonnax the instructions.
