I have a brand new 22 Yukon denali and after the first oil
Change the engine light came on and low oil. Changed the oil and in 4600 mil driven, 2 qt of oil went down. Is that correct? What can be? The car has 18000 miles

No, not normal. Top off the oil, with correct oil, before any more driving. Keep receipts for anything related and ask for reimbursement.

Who changed the oil? Was it checked for leaks at the drain plug or filter? Especially if do the oil change at the dealer, get there and have it checked under warranty.

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for your response.
I have taken to GMC dealership, they said is normal, I requested to check any leaking and smoke, nothing found. I also requested to open a case with GMC. They have a recommended paper that says if in 2000 driven goes more than 1/4 of oil, it must be a problem. Also, after that when I accelerate the car full power, a metal noise comes out, something vibrating. So annoying it, but the worst thing is they customer service at service department. They don’t care, I even suggested them to change the oil type from 0-20 to 5-30 to see if helps. They weren’t polite…

They said is NORMAL! Bull crap. Not normal at all. These dealerships that tell you that are a-holes. Take to a different GM dealer. Any GM dealer can warranty the rig. Stand your ground and get documentation for ANYTHING you have done and anything they say. When you call them on what they say and want documentation, they see that there is then a paper trail. Whoever said that is normal needs a throat punch. The noise is a new complaint here. That is not normal either, IMO.
