I am looking at painting my calipers red using the G2 caliper paint. I don't feel like investing the money on Brembro system, But I like the red look. Any feedback on how it performs long term. If I run it thru a car wash will the paint hold up. Does it fade over time? I am looking for a paint that will last 2-3 years? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

G2 holds up really well. Carwashes & chemicals to clean the wheels & brakes wont hurt them at all. My issue with G2 has always been how it lays down. I can never get it smooth it always has brush strokes in it. Have used both foam brushes & nice paint brushes but can still see brush strokes in them. Honestly now I just rattle can them & clear them. The only thing that can get on there & mess them up is brake fluid.

I had great results on mine with the Por15. Just remember that thorough surface prep is the key with any product. Put in the time and be picky.
