I think my highway MPG is good for a 6000 pound vehicle. i snapped this today while keeping it at 62 - 65 mph. 2015 Yukon XL Denali. Of course many times it drops with speed.
my last fill up on the Tahoe was 32mpg with 0% ethanol

BETTER then the sonic barely getting 19 with that little 4 banger 1.8L with the 10 or 15%(what ever it is)

in the corolla with the ethanol free i can get 45mpg on the highway

Do you run regular gas?
Yes, I've always used 87 where i live. It will of course get more thirsty if i get happy with the pedal, but i get a bit of satisfaction of seeing nice MPG numbers and having the AFM do what it was designed to do, while still knowing there's 420 HP available if i want it.

I have a 2017 with the 6.2L and I put in a RANGE Device to keep it in V8. Normal daily driving by my wife is around 18 city, back roads, some highway. We just took it to Nashville and cruising 85 mph for the majority of the way home I averaged about 19-20. I've had as good as 23, but that's a hard one to duplicate at 75 mph. When watching the instant at 60-65, it will say between 26 and 32.

It's neat to see that kind on mpg from a heavy truck, I just don't trust the AFM and prefer V8 mode. Keep an egg shell under the right foot and she'll produce good numbers...LOL

But, a true story I had with a rental 2020 Escalade was a 35 mpg number when cruising home from CA on route 66. I let it run in V4 as long as it would and it really produced excellent fuel economy. I did find though that even GM with their programming knows that V4 isn't good for long term running and it tripped out after 25 miles of continuous V4 and wouldn't let it go back for about 10-15 minutes of driving. I'm sure the purpose is to clean up the dead cylinders, etc. I thought it was an interesting experience/experiment

The pic shows the real number. I reset the fuel economy screen as soon as I got in the truck to erase the "teaser" numbers that are factory set.
