That’s how we spell it up here in Canada too. Center=Centre. Color=Colour too. Haha!

Here's the complete follow up. After doing my 98 K2500 I did the 97 Tahoe and used the infamous Dorman hinge pin kits and roller. The bushings are a sintered bronze and very brittle. I pressed the bushings in sing a bolt, washers, spacer and a nut. Bushings fit good and pressed right in. Roller assembly was bent so I removed it by cutting the top with a chisel and grinding it then driving it out with a long punch. Dorman roller had to have the knurling ground a little to be able to be driven in. Lower bushings broke the first day so I had to pull the pin and replace them, as I said they were brittle and they actually cracked.
Last but not least I did my 99 Yukon. On this one the roller was good so I tried one of the kits from Amazon that was a no name China kit. These kits have bushings that are metallic, will stick to a magnet. Pins fit a little looser in the bushings then I'd like. Bushings fit looser in the hinges and pressed in easy. When done there was a little bit of play felt when lifting the door that the others didn't have.
My take away on all of this..Best quality was the GM kit I put on my K2500 hands down. Dorman lives up to it's reputation of selling junk that you can make work but most likely won't last. The cheapo China kits are low quality but I'd say the bushings will last as they are steel or iron based. If I have to do the Tahoe or Yukon again I think I'll buy GM bushings and reuse the factory pins.

Aluminum/nickel/bronze flanged bushings. Googl it.

The GM roller pins (12540326) are still available and don’t require the grinding like the Dorman ones.

But, you’ll need a weld stitch on the top or somehow peen it like the factory to keep it from working its way down.

Just a follow up.. Pickup with the high dollar GM kit works like butter smooth as silk and gets greased when I service the truck, I'd recommend the kit.
97 Tahoe is in the shop today for.....hinge pin bushings. One year later and the bushings just fell apart, cheap Dorman junk. Daughter drives it and she's visiting for Christmas so I put a set of bushings I had and will order some of the Cunningham ones and do it one more time.
Can't follow up on the Yukon as I sold it.

Do you have a part number for the good kit? My passenger door is sagging bad.

19332887 is the part # of the GM kit, available on Amazon or Rock Auto.

Go with Cunningham. I used them with great lasting success.
