Thanks for the confirmation. So does the ACDelco kit have the correct parts in it or not? I cannot find exactly the part numbers it includes in there. Does it also include the AC belt and/or the right idler and pullies? According to here:

It does not include the AC belt but everything else?

I will add the thermostat to the list too.

Hope to order the above parts soon but the figured I would update the thread as my minor saga continues. I had a Midas guy who got great reviews take a look at the tires after the trip back form FL and he said he had to re-balance all the tires and said the passenger right took a decent amount of weight. He thinks the wheel may be bent. Said next time we rotate the tires, he would like to take the tire off and evaluate it before deciding which corner to put that tire. He didn't even charge me because he felt bad with what I went through, brownie points there! Brand new tires unfortunately so not looking to spend $800 on new tires. Truck rode significantly better with only a very minor vibration that he said may wear out but he can't do much else.

However, he did show me the slightly bent frame where the driver side upper control arm bolts to which was interesting. He said it shouldn't impact the alignment but maybe holding one long term. See the pic below. Would you have anyone like a body shop take a look or just let it go? With the rubber coating its hard to see if there are any cracks but the Carfax only reported a minor accident on the passenger side so who knows the history.

A slightly bent wheel and damage to the a-arm mounting point on the frame are evidence of either an accident or severe abuse (jumping, etc). That mounting point is definitely tweaked. Did the Carfax report show any accidents or incidents? How many owners? Where did you buy it from?

I bought it from a used car dealer and it was 1 owner car with one minor accident reported but to the passenger front, not the driver. He did think the passenger side rear wheel may have been possibly bent too. It drives fine otherwise but should I have it evaluated by a body shop? I had a 60 day warranty and 2k warranty from the dealer but passed that now. They had already replaced the oil and trans cooler lines.

Looks like the locating pin for the alignment washer is missing too. See the hole on the factory plastic spacer? Nothing is sticking out.

Here is a slightly better picture from the front but I’ll try and see if I confirm the locating pin is there. Is the locating pin supposed to be fixed to the frame?

It’s hard to tell if that is the pin or not from the photo though. What is that plastic peice that is not on the other side? Just a spacer added maybe because of it being bent?

This is the other side for comparison just to make sure that side is correct since that was the side with the reported accident.

Yeah I think I see the pin peeking through that hole now. Those plastic pieces are factory alignment inserts from the assembly line. Now that I am on a laptop with a better view WOW on the bent mounting flange. Look at the bolt on the top yanked out of position too. WOW. I'm wondering if your frame isn't actually bent. Hard to tell. I mean the to a-arm looks recently installed. Looks like it is mounted fine. If they are able to align it nd it goes down the road ok I guess you are ok and wouldn't sweat it? Big thing is those plastic inserts are still in place so they must not have to change the position of the cams during the alignment. Which makes me wonder what if anything they DID do under there. Did you get before and after readouts of the alignment specs?

Also on the bent rim thing, when I had these factory alum rims on mine I was getting a rough vibration over 70 MPH. I took it in for balancing and they said one of the wheels was really bad, like 9 oz of lead and still could not get it 100 percent, They said it may be bent.

However I recently replaced those with a set of PPV rims and the difference was night and day on the highway. The PPV wheels were buttery smooth as silk. So I guess that was the confirming evidence.

Thanks for the responses and info, I appreciate it! Yea I mean I just drove the car to Florida and back from pa and put 2200 miles on it without any issues other than that vibration but it wasn’t there on the first 500 miles. I’m going to have the guy remove the wheel next rotation and check to be sure. I did get a print out and and they got the toe corrected so I assume it wasn’t a problem. If the tires weren’t almost brand new and if the wheel is bent I’d pull the trigger on new wheels and tires but just found out we are having a 5th kid so priorities just changed quickly! I think this guy said he added about 5-6oz. Half on one side and half on the other.

The arms seem fine. Luckily that top bolt is just a shield otherwise I would be more concerned for sure!

I like the garage setup by the way! Nice little work space! I cannot seem to keep mine in an orderly form with all the kids stuff lol.
