15 Yukon XL Denali issues con’t:
Rear Lift-gate opens but never closes using the button or FOB.
I had my GMC dealer scan the issue & they reported there were sensors that will not lower the Liftgate. Service department said the sensors “get water in them & go bad”. Of course it’s $600 to replace both & they are on back order. Hoping the extended warranty I bought w/ it will cover but not sure I trust the Ford dealer service department to fix it properly since they were never even able to diagnose the issue???

what kind of warranty? most if not all do not require you to go to any particular place, what they are contracted to pay for labor will vary and most shops will work with the insurance/warranty rate.

You should be able to go to any dealer. If your not happy with that warranty you can cancel it and get a refund. You can then buy a GMEPP warranty from a GM dealer. There are several dealers listed on this forum that sell the warranty at a discounted price.
