It’s always been my understanding that they don’t show up as in transit on the dealer or Chevy site until they are completely ready to go and have a window sticker. And that status 4300 is often times code for “waiting for a chip”.

Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about but it seems like there are two kinds of delays - missing chips and actual shipping delays. Missing chips are “produced” with a VIN but have no WS. The ones with actual shipping delays are produced with a VIN and window sticker and legitimately waiting for a ride.
Seems accurate to me, but once GM knows we know more than them, they will change it up on us to confuse us even more....

Anyone know what "Bayed at upfitter in Arlington, TX" means? I assume it's en-route to the factory for retrofit due to QC issues... but at this point.. good grief, who knows.

This is the most logical and accurate information based on all of the user sourced data points. Of course no one really knows outside of GM.

I know there is a company across the street that they contract out. They typically install police equipment in vehicles. Not sure of the company name.

How did you find the exact location?

Mine has been back in Arlington for almost a month. Just shows at the plant.

This Is what I get from my dealer.

The chat on the Canadian side is horrible, takes them 24-72 hours for a response by email. No other choice.

At least it’s moving. Mines been sitting at Midlothian longer and isn’t moving at all. It could always be worse!
