Hello dear friends.
I have a problem. I have noticed that my DRL and rear lights do not work when I turn on the light switch. The normal headlights, high beams, fog lights, front brake lights, turn signals and reverse gear lights all work fine. The only thing is that the DLR lights don't light up in the front and the normal red lights in the back when I turn on the light switch stay dark. I checked the fuses for the DRL and they are all fine. Only when the switch is on do I have no power at the fuses for DLR. Could it be the light switch defective or is it something else?, Urgently need help here..

Best regards from Germany

as noted above you need to confirm the operation of the sun sensor, but also note the DRL's only come on when you are in drive, not in park, so you need to be positioned facing a glass door or building during daylight and while in drive so you can confirm the DRL operation.
another thing to check is to turn on the fog lights and the rear marker lights should be on, daylight does not matter
if the rear marker lights come on with the fog lights and DRL are not operational in daylight while in drive, then the sun sensor may have a issue..
also be sure the parking brake is not engaged.

@Doubeleive

First of all I want to thank you for the tips. I have to inform you that 3 days ago I had a recall from GM US here in Germany, where the relay for the heater wiper water system had to be removed because, according to GM, there was a risk of fire and my passenger airbag was removed because, according to GM US, the cartridge was missing deployment of the airbag could throw parts through the air and injure the front passenger. Since the driver cartridge was changed.

Before, I could turn on my light with the switch no matter whether it was light or dark outside, and the DRL lights and the low beam came on immediately. The license plate light and the rear marker lights were also on.

Now only the high and low beam go on when I switch them on, but the license plate light, DRL and rear marker remain completely dark.

Could it be that the workshop did something wrong here? I'll try your tip @Doubeleive with the fog lamps tomorrow because now I am tired, because was working the hole day on my Camper. Thank you for your help Great forum here Greetings from Germany Markus

If you had that work done at a dealer or shop I would go back and have them check there work to be sure they didn't disconnect anything else, I believe with the washer heater function they simply cut the wire off, the passenger airbag is done by accessing the airbag from behind the dash trim panel and behind the glove box it's possible the sun sensor could have been knocked loose maybe, you can check it by removing both the left & right side pillar covers, then you can lift up the front dash trim piece and access the sun senor from there. if the sensor fell down inside the dash it would not detect sunlight and would cause your issue, same if it became unplugged some how.

You mentioned "front brake lights." What/where exactly are those?

Hello my Friends, sorry that I was not finding the technical Word for, but my marker lights (red) would not light on when I switch on my Lights. Only Brake Lights showing up if I push the brake paddle. Blinkers are booth working fine too. Licenses Plate Light and Front DLR are not working even. I was sending the workshop already a Mail and ask for replay in my case. But this would be Monday first that they replay me. Grettings Markus

Edit. @Doubeleive I was gone out to by Tahoe and was testing this fog light test. But even I would switch on the fog lights no marker lights, license plate lights want to come on.

I was able to find a circuit diagram in my manual and marked the relay, the fuse and the continuing cables in red. I have a guess because when I was at the GM dealership, and they did the conversion they forgot to put the two relays STRTR and PWR/TRN back in place. My Tahoe just wouldn't start. Only when I had correctly translated the text from GM US about the work steps and in point 4 of the work instructions did it say that the relays that had been removed before had to be plugged back in, then my Tahoe start normally again. I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot to put the PARK Lamp relay back in as well.
I think they got confused because they had 4 different work instructions in English and had to repair Escalade and other US vehicles with recall at the same time. Unfortunately, I was only the 3rd customer they had done this to. So to less in experience and to fast working. Typical German Situations in workshops here.

That would explain why the lights aren't working. I'll check later when I get up.
