I did a search for this on here but did not find my answer. What are the factory speaker sizes for a 2015 Yukon XL SLE? I have seen they are 6x9’s then I have seen 6.5’s. I have also seen 6x9 in the front doors and 6.5’s in the back doors. Mine is not a Bose system either. Just wondering what everyone has used.

My 97 Yukon SLE (RIP) and my 08 Yukon XL Denali both have 6.5" door speakers.

it may depend on if you have a center console subwoofer or not, if no subwoofer then you may have 6X9's in the front doors as those would provide the bass sound instead,
what is the goal here? you can always just pull the door panel off and look, you can always get adapters to change the speaker size & type as well or if need be make a cut.
if you are looking at changing anything keep in mind the various functions bluetooth, rear camera backup tone, vehicle warning tones, etc are routed thru different speakers in the system, bass sound may be routed separately as well as noted by console sub/door speakers, if you want to change any of that you will need a multi channel amp and adapters.

I left my door speakers in my 11 yukon and I sold all my others stuff so I could start fresh. I would love to throw a big bad ass system in here but in reality I just want to get some good door speakers/tweeters and a nice amp on them. Eventually I’ll get a sub(s) again.

you might have to pull the door panels off and look if they are the 6X9 then they are base only so replacing them with a component or 2-way won't help unless you add a amp and a sub, because the base is filtered from the factory amp output.

I believe that if you took a strong flashlight and looked into the door speaker grille, you would get a good idea if you have 6.5 or 6x9 speakers.
