I was wondering, how long should I wait to wax my new 2022 Yukon in Satin Steel Metallic. It was born on 3-31-22. I thought I might use Mcguire's NXT Techwax. Any thoughts?

I took delivery on my AT4 in late March, and I've been using Shine Armor ever since. I found it on Amazon and it had one of the highest ratings for a product of this class. This stuff really, and I do mean REALLY, brings out the luster and shine in every surface of your vehicle - including the paint, glass, and window trim. I can't speak highly enough about this product. I will never have to search for a ceramic detailer ever again... so long as they keep selling this stuff.

It does dry quickly in the sun like all chemicals, so it's best to use it in the shade. I've also used it as a waterless cleaner too. I also recommend some ultra-fine microfiber towels from Walmart. They sell them in packs of 8. They're light gray and a navy blue in color. They are equally as fantastic as the Shine Armor.

How often are you having to reapply shine armor? It performed poorly in this comparison series (failed at 30 days) but could have been a bad batch maybe?

I was also wondering, what to to use on all the matte black plastic that skirts the perimeter of the Yukon to keep it looking like its supposed to, as new?

In theory ceramic should protect those also.
