2022 Yukon vs 2002 Tahoe

Placed our order on 3/39 and picked it up at dealer on 6/17. We love it. The only issue we have is on the hood there is a spot that the paint makes it look likes a small wrinkle in the sheet metal, but it’s hardly noticeable. We are blown away by the difference in size between our 02 and the 22. This is my wife’s first new car in 20+ years.

I did a similar pic at the dealer with the Pathfinder that I traded in for my Tahoe. It's crazy how big these are.

My neighbor drives a pearl '21 Denali XL on air suspension. She's about 5'5". When driving down the road she looks like a child operating a locomotive.

i am 5'6" so i will look like a kid driving one as well when i get it.

I remember when the Tahoe's and Expeditions of the world hit the roads and how big they seemed. Seeing them side by side is CRAZY how big they are. Congrats on the new purchase!! It has to be like driving a space ship in comparison!

I still have my dad's very similar color 04 Yukon XL (Silver Birch Metallic) . I love the color of your '22 also, it was on my very short list of colors but couldn't find any at the time.

Speaking of the spot on your hood, where is it? I found a small spot on the very front of my hood by the grill that looks crinkled or a super abrasive mark. Do you have any pics?
