New mounts in. Did the double passenger side of the hummer thing. No difference in NVH that I can tell at all.
HOWEVER, my manifolds are on their last leg. Not "ticking" just yet but I don't know how. Rusted TF. They will be ticking soon...this damn thing with its parts that need replacing when I'm trying to NOT be tempted by upgrades...

I've heard of broken manifold bolts, but I've never heard of the manifolds rusting out on one of these trucks.

Are your Frosted Flakes cracked yet? Let me know if you need some pointers once you get around to changing them. I was able to get my broken bolts out without having to break out the welder and without buying one of the broken manifold bolt kits.
The new manifolds now have a space/gap at the location between the two closest mounting bolts, which is where the old ones were known for cracking.

Nah there not that bad. If you’re able to, just start soaking them with some PB or Liquid Wrench penetrating oil a few days prior to attempting removal. Heat works as well, but I was nervous about melting the sensor on the drivers side.
Even on the ones that were broken off, I was able to use a pair of vice grips and could eventually wiggle them back and forth continuing to soak them until they came free. Do you have any bolts that are broken off? If so, can you tell if you will have any purchase on the bolt stud to grab ahold of?
It might be worth trying to tighten the bolts first - and by tighten I mean not even a 1/16th of a turn. Just enough to break up a little corrosion, and then try loosening them. I go back and forth a couple times if they are in their good, making sure to soak them once I have some space broken free in the threads.
I replaced those bolts with ARP ones on my 08 before they had a chance to break after dealing with broken ones on my 02. I don’t understand why GM kept using the same crappy bolts for 20+ years.

Follow this advice. Best damn option you could use. I completely spaced out mentioning the ARP bolts. I have used them on any rusted or important bolts that were removed (manifold, harmonic balancer, motor mounts, timing cover…). They are worth the extra cost, pick up a can of their hardware lube as well.

None of mine are broken, but look just like those in the pics. I've been tempted to try being proactive and replace them with ARPs, but fear they will break when removing them
