I'll admit, I've been somewhat schizophrenic with my Tahoe/Yukon search. One minute, I say that I'm going to quit and move on to another make and the next I'm back at it calling dealerships all across the country to find the one I want. One thing that I have become extremely frustrated with is how dealerships are taking advantage of the situation and marking vehicles up $5000 more and refusing to take the supplier discount. What frustrates me most is that I had an order in with a dealership that claimed they would take it only to find out that orders from others were being prioritized over mine. I've called probably 100 dealerships over the last month. As soon as I get my hands on one, they find out I'm from out of state and mark it up a ton. I had one today in Michigan that was going to accept my supplier discount...they even charged my credit card on a reservation...just to call back hours later and tell me they wouldn't sell to me because I was out of state. I lost another reservation I had in Illinois that was charging me 10% over MSRP for theirs when I thought I had the one I wanted for the pricing I wanted in Michigan. The one I had in Minnesota decided to cancel my reservation when I said I didn't want their aftermarket options they were forcing me to buy along with telling me I had to finance it with them. I'm basically out of options unless I want to throw my money away on used or excess market adjustments/interest. Could anyone maybe share a dealership that accepts supplier? PM me if you don't feel like sharing here.

What state are you in? Majority of dealerships will not sell to out of state buyers because they want the local buyer for service work. That’s where dealerships make a lot of money is service. So if you keep searching out of state you most likely will pay msrp or $5k mark up.

Randy Wise Buick GMC in Fenton, MI. Work with Kristin Schick. I had an outstanding experience wirh her although I used GM family discount and not supplier pricing.

Called them this morning and had a conversation with one of their salesmen...took the time to look through their inventory and explain to me what they're seeing. Very honest and they don't seem like they're interested in overpricing. Unfortunately, as with all the good dealerships, they're tapped out on stock too.

Did you try Jeff Belzer's in Lakeville? I got my 22 Tahoe HC well under MSRP and it was not a special order. Stock is tight everywhere, but Belzer is good about no markups or mandatory accessories.
