I know this isn't going to be everyones cup of tea, but I found a great deal on a set of 26 inch rims/tires and I am really considering them. I had been set on getting a set of 24s, but its going to be hard to pass up this deal.

With that being said, does anyone run 26's? How much did it affect ride quality, and how do you like them so far? Any regrets? Pictures are always welcomed and thanks in advance for the help!

Here are some examples of 24" and 26" inch rims on a Taho/Yukon. Depending on your preference, 26's with a positive offset will likely fit better with very little body modifications. I went with 24's with a -76 negative offset (Redwood Metallic below) and no lift, so I'll have to modify the body. Most people would lift their vehicles with offroad wheels, but I don't like to conform by anyone's rule. Not only that, but there comes a lot of restrictions when you lift a vehicle up high. Decreased miles per gallon from wind drag due to the height, parking lot restrictions, proximity issues when near objects you can't see, and vehicle entry and exit difficulties. I could also add in decreased mileage per gallon from bigger wheels, but that's a given when buying larger wheels.

Either way do what makes you happy, and don't listen to people that are gonna hate on you.

Finally pulled the trigger, I’m happy with it haha just hope it doesn’t kill my mpg
Nice style of rim. Not criticizing, but the wheel well gaps look pretty big--or is it the angle of the pic? I'm not into 26's, but it looks good.

If your new wheel/tire combo is significantly heavier, wider, and/or more sticky than your previous one, then your MPGs will suffer.
