with the diesel option being "cheap" as compared to the option in the HD trucks (understood we aren't talking red apples to red apples, but a $1k option cost would make it a desirable choice. talked to my wife about it and her first comment was, I'd probably put gas in it...
That’s exactly what my wife said when we coulda got exactly what she wanted a year ago in a diesel so we got the 5.3

This sucks, maybe it’s only for fleet but looks like Denalis won’t have Adaptive Cruise Control for start of production.
Somehow, my GMC dealer is very confident that these guides are subject to change and GM confirms them that both 2023 Denali and Ultimate will get Adaptive Cruise as Standard.

I really hope so or else I wont see our Denali until 2023. Adaptive is a must have for me.

there's a difference between "will get" and whether or not they will be available and included at start of production. Yes, the order guides can be updated weekly, and the 23's have already been updated a few times already.

That's crazy for a base model.

We called 53 dealers in 7 states in the midwest last fall and ended up finding our current SLT duramax at sticker in Indiana.

For the Denali we ordered in February, we are paying friends and family (supplier) pricing (basically 5% below MSRP) from our local dealer in Michigan. Only reason we ordered a Denali was because the dealer offered us $72K on our truck and the new one comes out to roughly $70K with the discount and we end up with what we wanted originally so I was ok with losing a bit on sales taxes.
How did you get the firiends and family pricing? I have an order in right now with my dealer for MSRP but they said if I can get a PIN by the time it’s delivered they will honor it.

That's a damn good question. I'm in the same boat! Just had twins so every little bit helps!

my friend works at GM plant and can generate a pin when it comes in. It's not as good as employee pricing (~10% off).

yep...my 2019 honda accord sport...yes 2019...MSRP was $27k and change and I paid a little over $22k...has adaptive cruise.

That's been the running joke in our house for a while...the tech in the Yukon/Tahoe is a solid 5 years behind
