Hello all,

I have a 2" rear MaxTrac lowering kit on my 2016 LTZ tahoe. I am just trying to even out the car, i want the car to look level. Since putting on the 2" rear lowering kit, the rear of the car now seems to be 1/2" to low low. Any ideas or suggestions for this?

Put a jack under the hitch and lift it 1/2". If it looks good to you, add 1/2" spacer under the springs.

You can adjust the length of the ride sensor rods if so equipped. You would want to make them longer.

I personally wouldnt do this to achieve added height. That means the air in the shocks would pumped up all the time to gain the added height.

I would just add the correct height spacer under/over the spring.

I did this last summer and ended up 2.5" lower when using 2" drop springs. After this, the running boards were completely parallel with the ground, but because of how the roof line was designed, and the still rather large gap in the front wheel well, many people think it's squatted (yuck). I'm currently looking into dropping the front 1" to make it a little more visually pleasing.

That, or toss a small spacer under the rear springs.
