That looks like the top of the shock up front?? I had a 2013. That would be the connection to your autoride shock. Has nothing to do with motor, just the ride.

you sould have a 6.2 liter engine, and that is an electrical connection on your shock for autoride, nothing to do with your engine.

Is there a wire connected to the top of the shock on the other side?

After powersquinting, I see that that's the harness connector to your AutoRide shock. This would have absolutely no affect on the idle. Have an engine light on? You should at least have a "Service Suspension System" message. That connector being unplugged would make that shock soft. If the others are connected and the system is otherwise operable, that'd make for some squirrelly handling.
