My 2016 Yukon XL Denali, with only 35,000 miles, started to shake so I took it to dealer service last week. Can someone please advise me if they have had repairs covered for this type of issue? It seems I'm not the only one with the Denali death rattle. They want over $4100 for repairs. This seems like a lot for a car just recently out of warranty and with only 35,000 miles on it. attached is the invoice from the dealer service. Any advice?!

Unfortunately this happens, you might want consider a delete kit instead
Depending on his registration state that could be illegal, like us in California. I would recommend a Range deactivation dongle, I've been using one for 6 years on my 2016. It's my belief that if the cylinders can't disable they have much less likelyhood of going bad and causing the above damage.

There is no CARB approved delete.
possibly haven't really dug deep into it, If not there may be one coming with all the engine failures that occur, really shouldn't be that big of a hassle considering the engines without dod, seems like there should be a way around it with a referee, again haven't really looked into it

There is another post with the same issue and GM is helping with the cost. Sorry I'm on a old IPad so cut and paste not working for me.

$2700 labor seems exorbitant for this work. If GM does not come through with full/partial coverage I would shop well-thought-of independent repair shops in your area.

I have a 2016 Yukon Denali used, to which I bought the extended warranty, glad I did, the phone charger pad and heated front seats didn’t work.
I bought floor mats and a few other things fixed a long with having all the fluid’s changed for $2,280.
I say, go for it; if it makes it safe, it’s well worth it.
