The other day our Denali starting freaking out, dash lights came door locks opening and closing. We parked the vehicle and the next day it won’t start. Check lights are all on, most gadgets, radio, etc work but hatch won’t open and vehicle will not start. Is this a TCM or ECM or BCM problem or can it be the neutral safety switch under the transmission? I did my research and all fingers are pointing to this, any feedback please.

Classic symptoms of either a battery with an internal fault, a weak ground near the engine bay, or a battery cable with internal corrosion.

Thank you, anyone else?
battery or batterty cables most likely, get a volt meter and start testing. anything below 10.5 volts is bad, you might see 12v stagnant but when you try to start it could be dropping due to resistance in the cables. ohm test the ground, do a voltage drop test to the starter.
these vehicles freak out with low voltage and do exactly what you described.
if the cables are good and verified good then honestly try smacking the underhood fuse box with a open hand a few times
if the starter is getting a solid 12v, try hitting it with a hammer a couple times, then if it starts then replace starter.

Thank you , one mechanic noticed that the needle for the transmission shifter is not showing in the cluster when I turn the ignition on and there forth made a claim that the TCM or neutral safety switch is bad, any feedback on that?

if the voltage is low/bad ground, etc and considering all the other related symptoms I would not even be looking at the transmission at all, pretty unlikely a trans problem would cause all the other issue's.
these vehicles need a good electrical handshake for everything to work properly and that all starts at the battery.

Thank you and I will get back to you once more trouble shooting has been done. Thanks again

first thing you want to do is disconnect the battery cables and wire brush them and the battery post's even if they look ok, then hook it back up and try again. might be something as simple as that. otherwise have the battery load tested and go from there.

Battery is new however I will use a brush as you mentioned for the cables. Should I dry brush it or use a little water as well?

I wouldn't use any water, if anything I would grab a can of crc battery cleaner at the autoparts store
