Or does adding mud flaps to the new GMC/Chevy/Cadillac suv's completely ruin the exterior look?
Typically its such a small addition that Ive never put much thought into it, but I added a set today and I immediately want to remove them because it takes away from the OEM lines of the new models.
Anyone else, or am I the only overthinking owner?

Well, I have the WeatherTech No Drills on mine...I actually don't mind them too much...they look way better than muck splattered along the rockers, which is what you get when you don't have them...so I guess its pick your poision. The weathertechs seem to match the black plastic on the base of the bumper in the rear pretty well, and the fronts are failry minimal and somewhat shrouded by the power running boards.

Agreed...they look fine for what they are and serve their purpose. Just feel like the new styling has great lines and the flaps just makes it look boxing again.
I'm weird what can i say.

Would be nice if they weren’t to wide. I know on different suv’s like a jeep srt have some thin ones that actually look good.

This is one of the reasons I haven’t gotten any and would rather wash weekly.

The OEM GM rear flaps were pretty ugly and seemed a lot wider than the weathertechs. I initially ordered the GM and returned them once I saw how good the weathertechs looked in comparison, especially since they also had the front flaps that worked with the power running boards.

It’s a boxcar SUV, not a Lambo….
i mean I care about how it looks, but it is a truck and trucks have flaps…and mostly for good reason…

Side bar:

Is it just me or does it also bother anyone else that when you pull down the visor to use the mirror, you have to readjust yourself more towards the middle of the Yukon vs being in the middle of the seat? While I dont use the mirror often, it seems to really bother me lol. Sat there for a good little bit at lunch time thinking of a design to 3d print to resolve it.

Ok, resuming normal broadcast :)

Edit: ok, something as simple (much more cleaner/thought out design naturally...just whipped it up) would resolve it.

Says the guy driving an $80k-$90k boxcar and spent another couple grand blacking out and customizing the way his looks… ;-)

Don’t disagree. But was obviously speaking purely aesthetics.

I too thought they would not look good and held out for 8 months before installing the weathertechs. Now that they’re on I honestly don’t even notice them, they look pretty standard. But the difference they make in how much cleaner the rig stays is amazing. Our Yukon was absolutely covered in mud and debris all over the sides and running boards all the time without them and now there’s hardly anything. Can’t praise them enough
