Was testing with my sales person earlier today and he said that my Tahoe has a TPW of 5/19. Frankly I'm shocked based on all the previous constraints and reading other anecdotes on delays and issues.

What is the average time to delivery from TPW? 4 weeks? I guess it depends on where you live (I'm in middle TN).

Also did the constraints change recently? I didn't see any for 4/28 for the Tahoe but the LM2 and Max tow were constraints prior. My build has both (LT, Red/Black, 4wd, Luxury pkg, Lm2, max tow, panoramic, captains chairs, etc...).

Also I haven't seen any 4 digit codes personally only word from dealership, the Chevy.com chatbot won't pull any info on my 6 digit code and the live chat agents won't give me any info.

Constraints change weekly, and dealers can still get allocations on constrained options as long as the constrained quantity isn't 0.

Since late March, thousands of trucks have been shipped to a storage lot near the factory with zero explanation, so its a crapshoot as to when you'll see the truck. It could come as fast as a couple weeks after being built, or you could be stuck waiting months.

we ordered early Jan, accepted mid Feb, TPW set then as 4/11, TPW moved up two weeks to 3/28, delivered to dealer at the end of April (I'm in AR for a reference point). When it was built the dealer said it could be up to 8 weeks before it arrived...and the post above is correct, although there are constraints every week, it doesn't matter if your dealer was lucky enough to get an allocation for that constraint.

you could check over on GMinsider (there's a huge post where a couple guys look up order #'s - Linton is the main one)

Do you mind if I ask what vehicle you ordered? My Yukon XL Denali had a TPW of 3/28 but has been sitting at Midlothian since 4/6. Glad to hear that some 3/28 TPW's are getting delivered though, congrats!

Z71 with luxury package and buckets...fairly basic as compared to other builds...if they are building some "build shy" meaning they are needed chips, the general consensus is that those chips wouldn't pertain to the retrofit items GM is giving credits for on the sticker

Awesome! Great to know, and thanks for sharing. That is what I am hoping for. My dealer said late last week that there were chip shortages late March/early April so some were sitting at Midlothian but that they were expected to start shipping out this week. Hoping to see some progress this week.

Newbie question. Is the site called GMinsider? DO you know the thread title where they look up order #'s?
