We experience it in our 2020 Yukon but not as bad as in our previous 2018 Acadia. Lowering rear door windows helps just a tiny bit but still very objectionable.

I have it in my 2017 Tahoe LS, has bothered me since day 1. I have heard it’s from the headliner moving up and down acting like a subwoofer. There is a guy on YouTube that talks about having the booming on a ‘21 Tahoe LS 3.0L. I have also heard the pano sunroof somewhat solves the problem. I ordered my 22 with a sunroof for this reason. Who knows if it will ever get built….

‘21 slt with pano roof and I can 100% for sure tell you this “issue” still exists. If one of my kids rolls down a rear window at speed your ear drums just about get blown out. Not a knock on gm, this seems very common on many vehicles

Same with mine.... '22 Z71 with pano roof. Different combo of windows up or down, roof open or close and it still happens. Gotta figure out the right way to drive with the windows down and enjoy the roof open without popping my eardrums.

That’s not the issue. Some models in Earlier years of the prior generation experienced buffeting / interior pressure. It was bad enough to get a lot of vehicles bought back by GM although it didn’t affect all vehicles or all passengers.

Our 21 AT4 (with sunroof) and the 22 Z71 without a sunroof doesn't have the buffeting that our 2019 did...

I guess I'm confused about what we're talking about here then. I'd never heard the term buffeting before and a google search returned this...

Whether you call it wind throb or buffeting or just plain annoying, it happens when someone in the car opens a single window at speed and it stops when a second window rolls down.

I've experienced this in just about every car I've ever owned. Are people experiencing this phenomenon with the windows up?
