I have a Cadillac with an air ride system and it is a nightmare, so I made sure my Yukon didn't have it. I must have replaced the pump 5 times already

How many miles? Did the pump fail, the air dryer, tanks, hoses?

just like anything - those that have the air ride and never have any problems out of it will speak highly of it...I fall in the category of having it and although (so far) haven't had any specific problems with, our next one will not have air ride....currently have a 2021 AT4

Curious if there is a way to bypass or override the air suspension love the look of it when it’s on “increased height”. But it drops down at 50 mph

Air ride is one of the features I made sure I had, it was on the constrict list for soo long. It is awesome! I had a Range Rover with air-ride as well and it too was awesome, yes they require more maintenance, but it's a luxury feature, and this is to be expected on a luxury vehicle. Why buy a luxury vehicle and then dream for it to be a lesser model, often perplexed by this commentary..

There's a difference between a "luxury" feature that is a nuisance when it doesn't work compared to a "luxury" feature that basically immobilizes your car when it doesn't work.

I'd only want air suspension as a supplement to a traditional coil spring design for the rear axle. I see no real need for it on the front axle. Well designed and paired coil spring suspension can be pretty compliant and even more so with MRC.
