Am I crazy for holding out for a 6.2 RST?

PulsarLT adjusts the throttle response. May not even need a tune.

It’s all personal opinion, I mean a 6.4 Wagooneer will take the 6.2 any day. If you are getting the 6.2 to be the fastest off the line, sorry you will not be the fastest.

I guess you never tried
I’ve had 3….and it never once occurred to me to help facilitate it. In pickup truck, Denali short, and Denali long…..neither will “spin” the rear tires on dry pavement from a stand still. Might get a little wiggle, but it would take standing on the brake….and I don’t know if it would roast with proper authority. Do what you want with yours!

I"m looking forward to the PulsarLT coming out for this new gen of GM's. Mostly to disable the DFM, but benefits to be had by the other tricks it offers, too.

Yeah so am I. I’m still in shocked that its not out on the 21’s yet. I hate when manufacturers lock their crap. All we need is someone to unlock that and I’m happy to pay to play.

Personal experience

15 Suburban LTZ 2wd 5.3 6spd
Was no slouch did it’s job

18 Yukon XL Denali 4wd 6.2 10spd
Ran like a bat out of hell

21 Yukon XL Denali 4wd 6.2 10spd
Noticeably less quicker then the 18

22 Tahoe Z71 performance package 6.2 10spd
Still not on par with my 18 Denali,

My choice would be wait for a 6.2.
which rear end did you have in the ‘18?

I had the 6.2 in my previous ride (a Silverado) it was nice, but I haven't missed it one bit after swapping to a 5.3 in the Tahoe. What specifically are you looking for beyond the RST trim and a 6.2? Looks like a few of them are on lots near me in MD.

Other than the RST trim and the 6.2, I have no other strong preference for options. I do like the new ‘22 dash but it’s not a make or break.

I haven’t found a single RST with 6.2 available anywhere nation wide that isn’t already pre-sold.
