I'm having this same issue in a 2022 Yukon. How do you cycle the map lights?

Just had someone post the seat connecter part numbers on facebook from where their dealer replaced it, it's a $13 part. Has anyone tried to replace this connector themselves? We just can't be without our Tahoe long enough to take it to a dealer.

Took mine in for this today, they said it was a connector/switch issue in the overhead console. Of course the part is on back order, they would not let me drive the vehicle with the airbags inactivated, so they provided me a comparable rental for as long as necessary until the part comes in. No complaints so far as long as they get it fixed.
Dealer showed me a TSB that addresses this problem directly…

Same issue with mine. I've been waiting on the part for 2 months. My dealership told me they didn't have any loaners and they had no problem with me driving it with non-functioning airbags. I opened a case with GM and told them I was driving around in a car with non-functioning airbags and they didn't care either. GM and the dealership just continue to tell me they have no ETA on the part. I've read on several Facebook groups that other people are having the same problem.

Well, that is a little disheartening, The did give me a Terrain as a loaner from enterprise and said they would cover the cost till its fixed, but they may not know what they are in for. I can wait a while, but I will need it back in a month or so to go back north. Do you specifically know what the part # is they are looking for?

Might have got lucky, part came in in 12 days and we are back in gear.
Many rigs sitting at the dealership waiting on parts, especially electronic parts….

I was in SW FL near Ft Myers. I got the part # I needed from the dealership and went on a parts search. I actually did find the part, but no dealership would part with it. Local dealer did upgrade it to a **** urgency as I told them I was out of town on vacation.
I went to my local dealer down here, Dixie Buick GMC, who didn't know me from Adam, and over all I couldn't have asked for better service. he immediately gave me a comparable loaner from Enterprise (New Yukon XL@ 200.00 a day, but I ended up taking a smaller new Terrain.) and said we will cover it till yours gets fixed. They also hand washed my vehicle before returning. Lots of people bash dealers, but I will give due credit here as it is due them.
The real key is if this fixes the problem permanently or not... Time will tell, but glad to have my vehicle back. In talking to dealers who had this part in stock, the average wait to get it was 1 month, but some said 2 months. My repairing dealer said their #1 problem now is getting most any spare parts, but especially electronic ones...

Did you just cold call dealerships to see if they had the part? And do you happen to remember which dealerships did have the part?
