Service rear camera?

I have looked for reasons in the owner's manual ,but nothing.Does anyone know what the service rear camera on the screen,what is involved. 2015 Tahoe LS 4wd.Has the small video screen. It does not always appear. Thanks.

It appears when there is dust on the camera, just clean it gentely. Good luck.

more likely it is a loose connection somewhere, intermittent problems can be a pain in the butt, try taking a look at the wire harness that goes thru the top center hinge area of the rear hatch and see if the wires look worn or frayed.

Yes it has only done it 2x ,sometimes when putting in reverse there is no picture then it pops on and is fine . It is not a big problem.Also does anyone know if the LT camera has grid lines as my LS does not,would a LT camera solve this it just shows a big picture of what is behind. Grid would be good for parking spots as no lines is vague backing up.
