Have 5k miles on my new 2021 Tahoe with Bridgestone 22” tires. Have rear end vibration. Wheels have been road force balanced three times. Suggestions?

You might have a brake puck dragging.

If you have one of those kitchen infrared thermometers, drop it in your glove box. After a run where you notice the vibration for a while, take your foot off the gas and use minimal braking to pull over in a safe spot and shoot the red dot of the thermometer on your rear rotors. If one side is a lot hotter than the other, you might have your tech take that one apart and have look.

Assuming you’re having the dealer road force balance the tires check out their balance machine and try to get a pic of it to determine the make and model.

Look online and find out what the calibration procedure is. Then ask them when the last time it was calibrated and how to do it. If they say it’s not their job, start there. Keep copies of each balance procedure. You need to know it the machine is giving inconsistent results on the same tires.

Amazon or harbor freight is the quickest way to get an IR heat sensor for the rear discs.

My suggestion would be replace them with Michelin Defender LTX M/S. Expensive initial investment but your not the first person that has said the BridgeStone Alenza‘s are…..not the best. At least not on this platform. based on previous vehicles I have had very good luck with Defenders.

Had one sort of like this once. My tire guy tried a rebalance with no change. Then he dismounted the tire from the wheel and turned it 180 degrees, reseated the bead, balanced it and no more vibration. Don't know if that will work for you, but it would be cheaper than new tires. (Although +1 for the Defenders. That's what mine will have when the Continentals wear out.)

Driveshaft maybe? Im sorry, if its a brand new truck with 5000 miles off on it drop it at the dealer and tell them to let you know when its ready and drive the loaner till then !!!

I had exactly the same issue with my 2016. Anything above about 55MPh and there was shake that got progressively worse. Balance, rebalanced, RF balanced, had the suspension checked, then finally was referred to a "problem solver". He put the first tire on the balancing machine and called me in...the tire was balanced, but was out of round...you could see it as it was spinning. Bit the bullet and bought a set of Michelin's, smooth as silk now to 100MPH.

If you are under warranty, make them fix it.

Could be a bad set of tires that won't balance. Dealt with that on a bad set of Nittos I had on my RAM.
