I would think you could hit up some of the dismantlers on ebay and ask if they would be willing to cut and ship you a panel, just find one on the west coast, do a search on ebay and you can filter it by location and find one that's not on the east coast.
Good call, I'll go through some when I get home.
Thanks

Most Junkyard vehicles, especially trucks, are usually stripped to the bone rather quickly. If you don't visit regularly, or have the owner tip you off when one comes in, you're out of luck. I've been thru this and it is extremely frustrating. You find a wreck but it's stripped to the frame, or what I need is long gone! Happy Hunting!!!

i am pretty sure they are closed today, but hit them up tomorrow, http://subwaytruckparts.com/
website shows they have at least 6 in the yard right now

That's the truth. I know a couple of guys who are on the phone with the yards daily or they have buddies who frequent them regularly. The closest yard worth anything is about an hour away and I just can't get there in time for anything.
I appreciate it. Thanks

There's a yard in Southern New jersey, Sarlo's, that will actually find the part and take it off for you. Here in Hawaii we have auto dismantlers who take in the vehicle and strip it of all useable parts then ship the carcass off to South Korea for scrap. It saves space and we don't have those annoying junkyard fires, but if you need an obscure or low demand part you're out of luck. It's on it's way to Korea.

Closest one by me is VA. I saw they had a few GMT900 Tahoe, I'll be giving them a ring/e-mail today.
Thank You

Do you happen to have a link? I tried Google and nothing came up under that name.
Thanks for the info

Pick-n-pull is exactly what it says, it's a self-service yard, they won't ship you anything, you go there and take your own tools and get whatever is not already scavenged, they drain most fluids, remove the battery, cut the cats off, remove the jack and take the wheels off before it hits the yard.

I'm just a little slow, jeesh I know what a pick n pull is:rolleyes:

I'm having no luck. I will more than likely have to cut out what's visibly bad and see how bad it is behind and evaluate the situation from there. I may just end up making my own out of thicker material.

Out here they are called Auto Dismantlers, also Used Auto Parts. Maybe there might be one in your area. The last time I was in jersey was 2009 or 2011. My Mom needed a driver's side mirror for her Ford Galaxie and they found one for a Ford Sable or Taurus with the same part number. Had to paint it, but the whole thing, motor + Flex drive cable for $50. Not bad...
