Grrr, battery issues here too. Slow crank and no turn over just before leaving for work. Did the mad dash to jump it and it wouldn’t hold a charge after 20 min of rather fast driving.

Cables were fine and as expected but ran into same sitch after work. This was an Champion / Interstate/ Bosch H7 AGM from Pep Boys only 14 Mo old. It didn’t seem to like driving up the local mountains on the 4th of July weekend @ 6.2k feet in Lake Arrowhead.

Gotta love Manny, Moe & Jack though. Pep Boys exchanged it no questions asked and couldn’t care less if it was tested or not. That storage compartment on the XL’s rear storage behind the 3rd row is a great place to keep receipts. Pep Boys no longer tracks their own purchases unless they install the parts. This time having a receipt was like a Wonka golden ticket.

The effortless way it turns over now, I can see it had a cell going out for some time. The price I paid last year was $150 on sale. After Covid they’re $230 on sale.

thats nice its still in good shape...after i have sold all my vehicles, i NEVER want to see them again. i dont want to see something i put so much time and effort into making it mine and look nice, only to see it get trashed by the next owner.

my very first truck, and my namesake - my solid axle swapped s10 - came up for sale a few years back for super cheap, like 500 bucks. If i had a place to keep it, i would have bought it. still looked basically how it was when i sold it, but had been rolled atleast once.

That must've sucked when you learned it was rolled. I had a beautiful fully loaded Thunderbird SC back in the day. All black, and it had every option imaginable. Sold it to my sister cheap. It slowly started to get messed up, then one morning they got t--b o n e d (GEEZ)by an old caddy. Guy was dui. Totaled it. Fortunately it was a heavy solid car! If not I think my sister would've been killed. She did get hurt tho. Car was MANGLED.

Yeah, I have sold a few that the owners destroyed... Just happy when they are not and the new owner is as bad as I am about detail and mechanicals etc.

I haven't done sh*t because my ole girl doesn't want to start.
Parked for the long weekend and went to go to work yesterday and no start no crank.
Weird thing is, when I turned the key to start all the way and when it didn't start, you could hear the locks actuating. Replaced my starter and guess what, still no worky. I checked my grounds and they seem to be all pretty solid.
Can anyone tell me wtf is going on?
