I have 1983 miles on mine, so far the only issue was a little creaking in the passenger side of the dash when hitting a decent sized bump in the road -- Houston roads will put any car to the test (my wife's BMW had a similar issue when it was new, accept hers was along the headliner)! Anyhow, the dealer adjusted the area under the speaker, and I haven't had any issues since.

My Yukon Denali was manufactured and delivered in Febuary 2021.

Update to this post -- had lifter failure at 5,070 miles while headed out on vacation.

Did GM replace all lifters or only the one that failed? I would like to see them replace all lifters and extend the engine warranty in situations such as yours. Perhaps you could insist on this at GM central. Best of luck to you from here on.

The service director has ordered the complete set of lifters, and he's working on approval to replace them all. If he isn't able to get that approval, then I intend to escalate the issue.

Any word on what is causing the lifters to fail and or what they've done to correct the issue?

I haven't asked. Good question for when I talk to them tomorrow. I do have a theory, however.

My 2021 Yukon AT4 had a lifter failure and bent rod at ~3,000 miles and had to be towed to the dealership. No replacement parts are available, so now it's a waiting game.

New owner here and only 431 miles on our Yukon, only two little issues have popped up: Center console lid is sliding all over the place and the radio lost all FM/AM reception over the weekend.

To me these are small issues if not a bit annoying after spending $72k on a new SUV.

Appointment next week with the dealer to have these issues addressed.

Have had my wife’s 21 Tahoe HC for about a month and my 21 Silverado HC for 8 months, love both. That was coming from ‘17 Premiers in both (friend is a Chevy dealer lols).

The 21 Tahoe is leaps ahead of the 17 in build quality, finish, ride quality, interior space. The 17 was pretty aggravating at times with the buffeting and the 6 speed auto was archaic. Interior finish and space utilization is leaps and bounds over the 17, no other way to put it. I couldn’t fit a Burb in the garage, the new Tahoe checked every box. No mechanical or electrical issues so far, been flawless.

The 21 Silverado same thing (only adding that here bc same platform and longer sample size for me)…12k miles, not a peep. Best truck I’ve owned. 17 had a lifter collapse under warranty at 25k miles, leaky XM antenna into the cab, couple other things. 21 has been perfect.

So 9 months combined ownership, no problems at all.
Went from 18’ premier to 21’ Tahoe premier, so much nicer, more roomy, better ride quality. Have a 19’ HC Silverado, I like it so far, the 10 speed in Tahoe is so much better than the 8 speed Silverado. Just had first issue on truck, the power running boards quit at 27,000 miles but they are fixing since still under warranty and it’s a lease. Turning it in first of year and excited for the refreshed 22’ Silverado!

One of the main things I am unhappy about is the total monopoly GM has over the infotainment system. No native way to read texts, and nothing you really want works with out their data plan or signing up for an Onstar plan. I hate reoccurring monthly pesky charges that you only use occasionally, then you look back and see you spent 300.00 + a year just to use your features….
