I have a 2008 Tahoe and it started to overheat, so I added some water. Well I attempted to add water as it POURED out on right rear (passenger side) of the block. Is it the freeze plug, rear main seal or what can it be?

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

Your rear main seal holds oil in the engine and has nothing to do with containing coolant.

I would just about bet that the heater hose tee's at the firewall have cracked and are leaking coolant. Something at the back of the engine area and those tee's are on the passenger side back there. They look like this: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8626172&cc=1441040&jsn=1719

Or straight like this: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=347133&cc=1441040&jsn=1722

May be a hose rupture though. May be back of intake or blown head gasket back there. You said it overheated. The overheat could be from one thing and it got hot enough to damage the head gasket. Typically a head gasket is the "result" of overheating but not the "source" of overheating.
